We offer humane education enrichment programs that teach social and emotional learning skills that are aligned with academic content tailored to specific needs. Our humane education lessons encompass important issues such as moral education, social justice, citizenship, environmental awareness and the welfare of animals. Our program allows students to reach their own conclusions and become critical thinkers.
Hug A Hound teaches compassion, kindness and respect for all living things, and models that all living beings deserve to be treated equally without prejudice.

Hug A Hound is dedicated to enriching the quality of lives for people of all ages and abilities in the community, through positive interactions with registered therapy animals.
All Hug A Hound dogs have received obedience training and have received their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title through the American Kennel Club. Handlers and dogs are certified as Therapy Dog Teams through Pet Partners, Inc. The dogs are always with a handler and never left unattended.
